3,337 love letters from 2005 - 2018

    To date, I have in my possession approximately 3,337 love letters that my beloved Andrew wrote me over the course of the years 2005-2018. Almost every single day, before leaving for work, my beloved would sit down and write me an ordinary love letter. At the time, I thought it was sweet and wonderful and endearing. My precious Andrew stopped writing the letters only because Brody, then 5 at the time, had to be waken up at 6:40am each morning to get ready for kindergarten, and Andrew was busy helping Brody get ready for kindergarten and Jasper get ready for 3rd grade each morning. 

    Now that those busy days are passed and I have time to reread and reflect on these letters from Andrew, I am floored, stunned, and completely blown away that my Andrew would commit such time, love, effort, and vulnerability in writing these letters to me day after day. These letters are anything but ordinary!! They are, in fact, extraordinary! Extraordinary evidences of a really good man faithfully loving his wife. I don't deserve this man at all. I don't even deserve his little finger. But God, in His mercy and KINDNESS to me, has given me the most spectacular man in the world!

    These letters are the most precious possessions I own. I so wish I had the time to write them all out and have digital copies of them recorded, but to be honest, we leave for Lakewood in 2 weeks and school starts as soon as we get home from Lakewood. The clock is ticking. I'll feel extremely blessed if I even get 50 of the letters written out here before we leave for Lakewood. But, I'll do my best in the little pockets of time that I have and will continue to be so incredibly grateful for my husband and the written evidences of his steadfast, kind, and faithful love.

I was going to write a lot more of Andrew's precious love letters until I realized that I have a bunch of content that I want to write about Walker Cade and his 1st year of life!! So, I'll pause right now on the love letters and start working on Walker's letters instead! What a precious gift from God that I have so many precious menfolk in my life and so many precious things I want to remember forever! How am I this blessed?! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!!!
